The rich, dark Walnut pictured here is a result of an oxidation process.  Applying a simple vinegar and iron mixture causes the wood tones to shift darker by reacting with the wood’s natural tannins. Because the vinegar mixture is organic, and because this oxidation technique is a natural process (however exaggerated) that preserves woodgrain characteristics, we offer this surface treatment for those who are in the mood.

Made to order from a limited stock of exceptional grade Ambrosia Maple (as shown).

Also available in a monotone black (oxidized Walnut throughout).
